Martha Malinski, Executive Director
Martha Malinski is the Executive Director for the Association of Colleges of the Sisters of St. Joseph. She joined the organization in 2015. Prior to becoming the Executive Director at ACSSJ, Martha worked for 10 years at St. Catherine University, one of ACSSJ’s member campuses. At St. Catherine University, she worked as the Director of the Center for Community Work and Learning. Martha has worked at various non-profits and higher education institutions. She brings a deep commitment to the mission of the organization and a spirit of collaboration. 

Martha received her bachelor’s degree in Peace and Social Justice from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN and a master’s degree in Education from Goddard College in Plainfield, VT.

Mary Hall, Marketing Intern
St. Joseph's University, New York, Class of 2026

Mary Hall is a senior at St. Joseph's University, Brooklyn and is an intern with the Association of Colleges of Sisters of St. Joseph. She has been working on our social media, newsletter, promoting the Student Exchange Program, and other projects. She has participated in the ACSSJ Student Exchange Program twice, once in the spring of 2024 and again in the fall of 2025. This program has allowed her to experience life on the West Coast, take interesting classes, and meet new people, while also deepening her understanding and appreciation of the history of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Mary Sommerhauser, Graphic Design and Marketing Consultant
Avila University, Class of 2018

Mary Sommerhauser graduated from Avila University in Kansas City, MO and majored in Graphic Design. At Avila she was involved in Campus Ministry and in the 1650 Society. After an amazing experience on ACSSJ's Student Pilgrimage to Le Puy, Mary got involved with the ACSSJ. Mary now works as a Graphic Designer for the ACSSJ.
