Dr. Richard R. Gaillardetz is the Joseph Professor of Catholic Systematic Theology at Boston College and the director of graduate studies. After undergraduate work at the University of Texas, he earned an M.A. in Biblical Theology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, and both an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in Systematic Theology. He has published numerous articles and books including The Church in the Making: Rediscovering Vatican II and Keys to the Council: Unlocking the Teaching of Vatican II, co-authored with Catherine Clifford.
Katherine Hanley, CSJ, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, currently serves as dean of St. Bernard's Graduate School of Theology and Ministry as well as on the board of several ACSSJ colleges. She has guided pilgrimages to Le Puy and Lyon for many years and has facilitated retreats for boards, faculty, and sponsoring groups. Her graduate degrees are from University of Notre Dame and the Jesuit School of Theology and Berkeley.
Ryan P. Murphy, a PhD student in Sociology at Temple University and an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph, serves as the Director of Service-Learning and adjunct instructor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. Ryan has published and presented work examining the experiences of American religious sisters after the Second Vatican Council.
