“From the beginning of my time as an ACSSJ communications intern, I was encouraged to explore and develop new skill sets. I never felt overwhelmed, because while I was allowed to push my limits, I was also taught to respect them—and I was always supported whenever I struggled. Thanks to my experience with the ACSSJ, I was able to get a great job as a program assistant with another higher education consortium, Five Colleges, on the Smith College campus. I am still building upon the foundational skills that I learned as an intern. I credit the ACSSJ with giving me a leg up in the world, and I will always be grateful.”

“I'm extremely proud to have taken on the role as Social Media Intern for ACSSJ in my final semester. I joined the organization wanting to garner experience for my career after college and that's just what I did gaining valuable professional skills. I learned a lot about other colleges throughout the United States, as well as quite a bit about the Sisters of Saint Joseph. I enjoyed my time with ACSSJ and found it to be an enriching experience that broadened my horizons and gave me valuable experience needed after college.”

“My experience working for ACSSJ has been overwhelmingly positive. As their Web Development Intern, I learned a lot about the web development platform, Weebly, as well as different marketing & social media tips for making good websites. I also gained a lot of knowledge about the association and its various members, one of which is my school, St. Joseph's University. The Executive Director, Martha, was great to work with while also showing me ways to better direct the vision of a website in development. I would recommend this internship for anyone who works well on their own, needs flexibility in their schedule, or wants to further their career in Web Development.”
-Nicholas Pinzon, Web Development Intern
